Riot gun converted from Webley and Scott 1.5 inch No 4 Mk I signal pistol, fitted with Sten skeleton stock

Soldiers on riot duties in Northern Ireland sometimes carried guns that fired rubber bullets or baton rounds. The use of these against rioters was highly controversial, as was the temporary deployment of tear gas during the early years of the 'Troubles'.
