The Quartermaster was responsible for the stores and equipment of their unit. This Quartermaster Sergeant wears an undress uniform comprising a peaked pillbox forage cap and an undress frock. His frock also bears his rank badge on his lower right sleeve. The broad red stripe on his trousers also indicate he is a Royal Engineer.
