Sten Mk VI silenced 9 mm sub machine gun, 1945 (c)
This is a silenced version of the Sten Mk V for use by British Special Forces. The Mks V and VI were developed in 1944 to produce a firearm which had a better finish than the previous utilitarian Sten weapons. It still retained the faults of the earlier marks of Sten, including the magazine feed which often caused the gun to jam. It also had a reputation for going off when you least expected it.
