The Gold Coast Regiment Battery, 1909 (c).

The Gold Coast Regiment, part of the West African Frontier Force, was raised in 1901 from a nucleus of the Gold Coast Constabulary. The regiment raised a total of five battalions for service during the First World War, all of which served during the East Africa campaign.
