Brass bell used by the Kempei-Tai, (Japanese Military Police) at Rangoon Jail, 1945 (c)
The bell is engraved with decoration including a floral pattern and two oriental lions. The thick metal suspension ring in top centre is etched with the regimental name. The bell is suspended from a mahogany stand believed to have been made by a Japanese prisoner of war when the bell was captured by the British Army.
