'Transport arriving in French Harbour', 1914

Lantern slide, World War One, Western Front (1914-1918), 1914.

Le Havre, Rouen and Boulogne were the main ports used by the British Expeditionary Force (BEF) when it deployed to France in August 1914. From there it was moved via two railroads to its position on the Franco-Belgian frontier.
