Officer's broadsword scabbard, J F S Gordon, The Royal Scots (Lothian Regiment), 1900 (c)

Associated with a broadsword made by Henry Wilkinson, 1900 (c).

Similar swords, with the appropriate badge, were carried by officers of other Scottish regiments. Raised in 1633, the Royal Scots were part of the Scottish Army before joining the British Army.
