It amalgamated with its sister unit, the 32nd Lancers, in 1923, to form the 13th Duke of Connaught's Own Bombay Lancers, renamed the 13th Duke of Connaught's Lancers in 1927. With the partition of India the 13th Lancers became part of the Pakistan Army.
