Officer's Levee Dress Coatee, 22nd Regiment of (Light) Dragoons, 1815 (c)
The long-tailed coatee was worn on gala occasions, this example by Lieutenant-Colonel (later Major-General Sir) Robert Travers who served with the regiment from 1794 until 1819. The medal ribbon and pocket on the left breast were for attaching the Army Gold Medal; Travers was the only officer in the 22nd Light Dragoons to be awarded this medal.
