The King's (Shropshire Light Infantry) at Victoria Barracks, Portsmouth, 1898

Members of the regiment play cards while relaxing off duty at the barracks, which were opened as an extension of Clarence Barracks in 1886.

From an album of 182 photographs, possibly compiled by a non-commissioned officer of The King's (Shropshire Light Infantry), 1898-1903 (c); associated with the Army Physical Training Corps, England, South Africa and the Boer War (1899-1902).
