3rd (Lahore) Division Field Post Office, 1916 (c)

Photograph, World War One, Mesopotamia, 1916 (c).

Indian and Arab personnel load a cart with post for soldiers of the 3rd (Lahore) Division. The latter had arrived in Mesopotamia in December 1915 and remained there until August 1918 when it went to Palestine, where it served until the Armistice (31 October 1918).
