Miniature portrait in watercolour on ivory, by George Engleheart (1750-1829), 1800 (c).
The portrait is in a gold frame with a lock of hair verso, within a green, engine-turned decorative border.
George Engleheart was one of the greatest miniaturists working in Georgian England, exhibiting regularly at the Royal Academy of Arts from 1773 to 1822.
