Argentine FN 7.62 mm self-loading rifle, 1970 (c)
This weapon, made under licence in Argentina, was used as a squad light machine gun during the Falklands War (1982), and was normally fired in the automatic mode. The heavy barrel, the bipod and the shoulder extension fitted to the butt, enabled the gunner to maintain more accurate fire.
