Bagh nakh, 'tiger's claw', India, 1945

Two brass rings (for the fingers) attached to a brass plate with four steel claws.

The bagh nakh is a concealed edged weapon originating in the Indian sub-continent. The weapon mimics the claws of a big cat, hence its nickname, the 'tiger's claw', and it is often associated with bandits and assassins.
