Helicopters played a crucial role in the Malayan conflict as they could land in the jungle to insert patrols, deliver supplies or evacuation casualties in areas otherwise inaccessible.

One of 57 photographs, fifteen mounted on sheets photographed by Ng Beh Leow, Kuala Lumpur, Malaya; collected by Maj A I McGregor, Royal Army Ordnance Corps, whilst serving with 55th Coy Royal Army Service Corps (AD) in Malaya, 1957 (c).
