Other ranks' cap badge, Royal Army Veterinary Corps, 1965 (c)

This badge depicts Chiron, the centaur of Greek mythology, within a wreath with a crown above. Below the wreath is a scroll inscribed with the unit title. The centaur, a man with a horse's body, represents the Corps' role in providing the Army with horses under the direction of man.
