Memorandum respecting German coins, 1807

The French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars (1792-1815) led to the fall of the Holy Roman Empire in 1806, but while many of its myriad German states and territories joined the French Confederation of the Rhine they still retained their currencies. This documents discusses many of them.
