A member of the Royal Engineers clears thick jungle with an army bulldozer. The British military used civilian bulldozers modified with additional armour and specially designed tanks that were fitted with bulldozer blades. Both kinds of vehicles were used to clear routes, repair airfields, remove roadblocks and fill craters.
