'Join the Queen's Division of Infantry and serve with the Regiment of Your County', 1970 (c)

The Queen's Division was formed in 1968 through the amalgamation of the Home Counties Brigade, Fusilier Brigade and East Anglian Brigade. The latter three formations all consisted of battalions of the Queen's Regiment, Royal Regiment of Fusiliers and Royal Anglian Regiment. The divisional depot was established at Bassingbourn Barracks in Cambridgeshire.
