The band of the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders, February 1943

The bandsmen are shown outside one of the buildings of the Commando Basic Training Centre at Achnacarry in Inverness-shire. Achnacarry was the seat of Sir Donald Walter Cameron of Lochiel, Chief of the Scottish Clan Cameron, whose ancestor had raised the Cameron Highlanders, the county regiment of Inverness-shire.
