Colour party, 2nd Battalion, Royal Dublin Fusiliers, 1918

The picture was taken at Le Quesnoy after the Armistice. The regiment was disbanded in 1922 on the establishment of the Irish Free State. On 12 June that year the regiment laid up its Colours in a ceremony at Windsor Castle.
