Webley .455 inch Mk IV commercial revolver, 1901
This weapon was presented to Captain H E Webb-Bowen on his departure for the Boer War (1899-1902). The MK IV revolver was introduced in 1899 and soon became known as the 'Boer War Model' as lots of British officers purchased it prior to serving in the South African conflict.
