An American APC driving through open country, 1944

The armoured personnel carrier (APC) depicted is a Kangaroo, a design based on a converted Sherman tank chassis. Protected with thick armour, the Kangaroo was an ideal vehicle for transporting tank supporting infantry. It could carry 11 men plus two crew.
