US protective fragmentation body armour, M-1952a, 1955 (c)

Made by Foster Sportswear, this American fragmentation vest was never issued to British soldiers, but it is of the type developed at the end of the Korean War (1950-1953) where a number of experimental versions saw service with United Nations (UN) forces.
