Formation badge, officer, 29th Independent Infantry Brigade, as worn in the Korean War, 1950 (c)
This badge is the same as that worn by the 29th Independent Brigade group during the Second World War. The circle was said to represent the 'O' of General Oliver Leese, who was the first commander of the formation.
The formation was re-raised and mobilised for service during the Korean War as part of United nations forces and completed operations in Korean in November 1951.
