"This is the Year! It's up to us to let 'em have it!", 1944

Colour lithograph after Clive Uptton, World War Two (1939-1945), 1944.

The poster depicts a British landing amid explosions in the air, at sea and on land. Tanks are being off-loaded from Navy transport ships, while fighter planes battle overhead. Soldiers disembark from a landing craft and fight their way up the beach with machine guns.
