Formation badge of Headquarters Land Forces, Hong Kong, 1945 (c)

Headquarters Land Forces, Hong Kong, was established on the liberation of the colony in 1945. The formation's dragon emblem emphasised its links with China. The red and black background of the badge are traditional command colours. The badge would have been worn by service personnel directly subordinate to the HQ.
