The Royal Buckinghamshire Hussars was a yeomanry (Territorial Army cavalry) unit that served in the Middle East during World War One with Major-General William Peyton's 2nd Mounted Division. In August 1915 the Buckinghamshire Hussars were dismounted and sent to Gallipoli as infantry. After the evacuation of the Dardanelles in December 1915, they returned to Egypt.
