Collar badge, other ranks', 13th/18th Royal Hussars (Queen Mary's Own), 1962 (c)

This regiment was formed by the amalgamation of the 13th Hussars and the 18th Royal Hussars in 1922. The badge consists of a St. Edward's (Queen's) crown above a Z-shaped scroll that is superimposed over the monogram 'QMO'. The top of the scroll is embossed with the Roman numeral 'XIII', the lower part with 'XVIII'. The diagonal arm of the scroll is inscribed 'Royal Hussars'.
