Portrait of Captain Douglas Reynolds VC, 37th Battery, Royal Field Artillery wearing his Victoria Cross.
Captain Douglas Reynolds won the Victoria Cross at Le Cateau on 26 August 1914. He was involved in recapturing a gun under heavy fire from German forces. Driver Frederick Luke and Driver Job Drain were also awarded the Victoria Cross for the action.
