Hungarian-made Kalashnikov AKM 7.62 mm assault rifle, 1965
This is one of the most successful assault rifles ever invented. Tens of millions have been made. It is cheap, sturdy and reliable in harsh conditions.
It was used by the Iraqi Army in the Gulf War (1990-1991), and captured by the British forces sent to liberate Kuwait.
