Cardboard box for William Britain Limited's Box Set No 39 from the 'Types of the British Army' series, 1925. The hollow-cast, lead alloy model soldier set includes a mounted officer and four mounted troopers.

William Britain began producing toy soldiers and military miniatures in 1893 and soon gained a reputation for making the most finely detailed and historically accurate figures available. The company continue to manufacture them today.
