Baker .625 inch flintlock rifle, 1806 (c)
Although it was first introduced in 1800, the Baker Rifle was steadily improved and developed until the definitive model was perfected in 1806. This version was then produced until 1815. As well as two British regiments (5th Battalion 60th and 95th), the King's German Legion Light Infantry and the Portuguese Cacadores were also equipped with rifles.
