Parade of the Standards with mounted escort, 5th Inniskilling Dragoon Guards, Warburg Barracks, Aldershot, 1930-1933

This parade of the Regimental standards was part of a drum head service, with the regiment's kettle drums forming a temporary altar for the service. The standards were carried by senior non-commissioned officers. Although the regiment was still horsed, by 1938 it had been mechanised and the horses retired. The regiment were based in Warburg Barracks for three years before moving to Colchester.
