Military Medal group awarded to Naik Goru Ram, 17th Dogra Regiment, 1943-1945

The Military Medal was awarded to personnel of the British and Indian armies below commissioned rank for bravery in battle. The medal was established on 25 March 1916. Goru Ram was also awarded the 1939-45 Star, Burma Star and the 1939-45 War Medal (all shown here).
