Out of work donation policy issued to G J Baxter, Queen Mary's Army Auxiliary Corps, 25 January 1920
This form was issued to demobilised men and women after World War One (1914-1918) and was a form of unemployment relief. Women received 24 shillings, with additional allowances for dependants. This sum was however available for a strictly limited period.
From a collection of papers of Miss G J Baxter, Women's Army Auxiliary Corps and Queen Mary's Army Auxiliary Corps, 1917-1920.
