Discharge notice, 26 July 1919
This form informs Maud Emsley of Queen Mary's Army Auxiliary Corps that she is to be discharged and that she is allowed to retain her uniform. It also states that discharge certificates and any outstanding pay will be forwarded. The notice was accompanied by a chit to take to a Local Food Controller who would exchange it for a civilian ration book.
From a collection of papers of Miss Maud Lilian Emsley, Women's Army Auxiliary Corps and Queen Mary's Army Auxiliary Corps, 1917-1932.
