St Mark's Gospel, 'Active Service' 1914 edition

The inside of this booklet includes a message by Field Marshal Lord Roberts dated 25 August 1914: 'I ask you to put your trust in God. He will watch over you and strengthen you. You will find in this little book, guidance when you are in sickness, and strength when you are in adversity'.

From a collection of papers of Betty Mould MBE (1895-1988), Women's Army Auxiliary Corps and Queen Mary's Army Auxiliary Corps, 1909-1981.
