Women's Army Auxiliary Corps Orderly Room, Camp 1, Etaples, 1917

Etaples was the largest British military base on the Western Front, with over 100,000 soldiers stationed there in 1917. The establishment required a huge administrative staff that included members of the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC).
