Lieutenant (later Captain) George Stanley Hurst, 9th Hodson's Horse, with dog, 'Nellie', probably at Chatby Camp, Alexandria, in Egypt.
The 9th Hodson's Horse was deployed to the Middle East in 1918 and remained in the region until December 1920.
