A large military encampment at Jandola on the North West Frontier of India.
From an album of 94 photographs, compiled by Major James Roney Keogh Murphy, 9th Hodson's Horse and 52nd Sikhs Frontier Force, 1916-1924.
The 9th Hodson's Horse returned to India from the Middle East in December 1920. In 1921 the regiment amalgamated with the 10th Duke of Cambridge's Own Lancers (Hodson's Horse) and then became the 4th Duke of Cambridge's Own Hodson's Horse in 1922.
