Vickers .303 inch gas operated Class K light machine gun 1940 (c)
This machine-gun was used by the Long Range Desert Group (LRDG) in the Middle East during World War Two (1939-1945). It is fitted with a drum magazine, anti-aircraft sights, hopper and (incorrect) muzzle cover. The Class K was capable of firing around 950 rounds per minute and was fitted to the vehicles used by the LRDG in their raids against Axis forces.
