Polish 7.62 mm M1965 Kalashnikov AKM assault rifle, 1980
This is one of the most successful assault rifles ever invented. Tens of millions have been made. It is cheap, sturdy and reliable in harsh conditions. This folding stock version was used by Iraqi tank crews and paratroops in the Gulf War (1990-1991).
