Beretta 9 mm Model 38A submachine gun 1940 (c)
The Italian Model 38 was introduced in 1938 and used throughout World War Two (1939-1945). Well-made and reliable, it had a rate of fire of around 600 rounds per minute. It could be fitted with a 10, 20, 30, or 40-round detachable box magazine. The Model 38 remained in use with the Italian Army until the 1960s.
