Bass drum, Hong Kong Military Service Corps, 1975-1985 (c)

Made by George Potter, Aldershot. The drum is emblazoned with both the Royal Coat of Arms and the regimental cap badge, a Chinese dragon passant.

The Hong Kong Military Service Corps was a British army unit based in Hong Kong, made up almost entirely of locally enlisted personnel. It disbanded in 1996, shortly before the transfer of Hong Kong's sovereignty to China.
