Diary of 40th Berkshire Company, Auxiliary Territorial Service, 1939 to 1942
This World War Two (1939-1945) unit diary begins on 13t October 1938 and ends in July 1942. It includes details about of members and their dates of enrolment. It also contains newspaper cuttings and photographs of members relaxing, dining, at wedding ceremonies and carrying out their duties. There are also images of the company commander being presented to King George VI.
