'King George at the Cemetery Passchendaele', 11 May 1922

Photograph, 1922.

King George V visiting the battlefields of France and Belgium and the cemeteries and memorials being built to commemorate the dead of World War One (1914-1918). Field Marshal Sir Douglas Haig can be seen just behind the King.
