'General Kelly-Kenny's Infantry creeping on the Boers at Dreifontein - on the march to Bloemfontein'

Lieutenant General Sir Thomas Kelly-Kenny commanded the 6th Division during the Boer War (1899-1902) and took part in the relief of Kimberley and the battles of Paardeberg, Poplar Grove and Driefontein.

From a box of 89 stereoscopic cards entitled, 'South African War through the Stereoscope Pt 2 Vol 1'. Published by Underwood and Underwood and produced by Works and Sun Sculpture Studios, 1900 (c).
