Letter from Queen Mary's Army Auxiliary Corps records accompanying preliminary issue of the British War Medal riband, 11 August 1919

Sent from the Queen Mary's Army Auxiliary Corps records office to R Cohen, it states:

'I enclose herewith the preliminary issue of the British War Medal Riband which you are entitled to wear. Your medal will be sent to you as soon as it is issued, which cannot now be for some considerable time. As time does not permit of the necessary verification of claims, it must be understood that the issue of the riband is no guarantee that the arrival of the medal has been approved. Please keep me informed of any change of address'.
