Bedford OYD 3-ton 4x2 CL vehicle
Army registration: 02 RB 31.
Made in large numbers (over 250,000 were produced) and used by all the armed services during and after World War Two (1939-1945), the Bedford three-ton truck was developed from a civilian OY lorry in 1939. It was powered by a 3.5 litre six cylinder Bedford petrol engine. The OYD was built with general service bodywork.
